Born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Robyn can sniff out a Pilsner 10 kilometres away, but would really rather not.

Developing a love for writing at an early age, her first poem was terrible and written on lined paper with multi-coloured pens. Inspired by the works of Shel Silverstein, David Bowie, and numerous other crazy geniuses, however, Robyn pursued her passion for the written word, and was published in several young writers' journals and compilations. As a teen she was a permanent fixture at local poetry readings, and after taking a well-earned year off to drink wine on British Columbia's beaches and become adept at fire-hackysack, she learned what the internet was and quickly became a regular contributor to LGBT websites and literary e-zines.

In 2011, Robyn published her first collection of poems, 23, which made its way to bookshelves around the world. She is set to release a second and third collection in 2020.

As well as being a poet, Robyn also rants a lot, deletes your commas, and hunts dead people.
